My name is Silvia and I am a fashion and costume designer based in Manchester. My designs are timeless yet modern, and I strive to create unique high quality garments that fit amazingly. I specialise in creating bespoke couture outfits, including bespoke wedding dresses and wedding dress redesign, custom party dresses, modern and vintage style dresses, bespoke costumes, and bespoke streetwear. I design my own collections of sustainable fashion and offer as well 1-2-1 sewing classes on dressmaking, sewing, pattern design, and fashion-related subjects. I hold two university degrees: Fashion design and industrial pattern cutting (Madrid, Goymar 1992) and Fashion design and styling (Manchester, Salford University 2000). I have travelled the world making fantastic creations, as well as lecturing fashion design at University.

​I design and lovingly hand-make every garment from scratch, for each individual customer, from my workshop in an old mill in Manchester city centre.

My work has been featured in Vogue Italy amongst other fashion magazines, has been shown at parades, has been worn by celebrities, has been on TV and newspapers, exhibited in galleries and fashion shows, and worn by performers in festivals and the circus.
